About Lynette:
Lynette got her first taste in radio while still in high school at the age of 15. She did weekend radio shows for a local Country/Western station and even announced rodeos. While in college at Evangel University in Springfield, Mo., she juggled school, being the Program Director for the college station, and working evenings at a local Christian stations and weekends Top 40 station. Her love for Jesus and Christian music eventually led her back ‘home’ to Seattle where she began working at SPIRIT 105.3 (our sister-station!). In 2008 she answered the call to join Jim Bouma as a Morning show Co-host.
Lynette is a Washington native, although she spent most of her growing up years in the Midwest. Lynette calls herself an “AMERICANADIAN” since she is from America and her husband, Dom, is Canadian. Together, their blended family includes 3 boys, 3 girls, 2 wonderful sons-in-law, three adorable grandsons with a granddaughter on the way in 2024, and her sweet kitties, Meeko and Mirabel. When she is not crossing the border back and forth for family time, she loves photography and scrapbooking, the Hallmark channel and just hanging with her hubby at their little house near the beach.
