BC Greenhouse Veggies Day are from April 26th to May 4th with PUBLIC TOURS on MAY 4th from 10am to 2pm!
This is a GREAT way to spend time with friends and your kids doing something different. Offered only once a year, the tours give you a way to see how greenhouses operate. It's fascinating to see!
Best part is the event is FREE and you even get complimentary samples.
Three greenhouse locations:
1) Westcoast Vegetables, located at 3975 46A Street, Delta, BC. Westcost is a fourth-generation farm producing over 20 million sweet bell peppers (red, yellow, orange, and green) and 12 million long english cucumbers annually.
2) Sunnyside Produce (1133 176 Street, Surrey)
3) Gravis Farms (4653 Bell Road, Abbotsford)
