Praising God in Every Season

It’s no secret that I LOVE snow and whenever winter surprises us with snowfall it brings me so much joy. Although I love it, I know my zeal for snow is not possessed by everyone. For many the continuous dark, gray and very wet days of winter can be difficult to cope with. Sound familiar?

Luckily, spring is FINALLY here! Hasn’t this sunny weather been incredible? I’m packing away my dreams of rain and snow so I can ‘spring’ fully into the beauty of this season. My yard is coming alive with tulips and daffodils poking through the soil. Life seems just a little brighter when it is filled with sunshine and puffy white clouds in the blue sky. The contrast between winter and spring is a living reminder of the contrast between good and bad times in my life. It’s easy to praise God when things are good, but I find it more precious to praise Him when things are dark and gray.

Whatever season you are facing in life right now, be encouraged and join me as I “rejoice in the Lord always!”
