Jason, always puts being the hands and feet of Christ first. Through his willingness to be the coordinator for food delivery for the Bellingham School District, meeting the needs of Sudden Valley (which is not always easy) such as when someone called to complain about a neighbors roof needing attention, I got a hold of Jason and he was able to get the roof taken care of, but also found out these folks had suffered greatly through the pandemic and just did not have the money to take of of the problem, but he did. Jason also helps coordinate and assist our local food bank along with issuing of gift cards when folks need other thing.
He does this all while being the senior pastor of over 100 here in Sudden Valley, and for me recently when I was having moments of crisis due to my employment, he came alongside me, both as my counselor but also my friend…..he is the heartbeat of this community…Also, he and his wife are foster parents and are currently taking care of an 18 month old and mentoring the teen mother who is having strife.
