Lynette sat down for a deeper dive into this weekend’s FREE event! The Whatcom County Home and Lifestyle Show is set to take place on April 4-6 at the Northwest Washington Fair and Event Center in Lynden. This rebranded event, formerly known as the Home and Garden Show, now includes a broader range of lifestyle exhibits and activities. Enjoy beautiful flower displays, a plant sale by Master Gardeners, and numerous activities for kids, including a gnome scavenger hunt, reptile shows, and Lego building competitions. With over 250 businesses participating and special appearances by HGTV’s Unsellable Houses twins and garden expert Cisco Morris, the event promises a fun-filled weekend. Admission is free, and we’ll be onsite Saturday, April 5th from noon to 3 PM. Click below for Rebecca’s full overview of the Home and Lifestyle Show!
Bill Stock is also here to talk about the barbecue competition, hosted by the Pacific Northwest Barbecue Association. He will be leading 15 competition barbecue teams, offering delicious samples of beef brisket, pork, chicken, and more. Follow your nose to the event and enjoy the mouth-watering delights.
Still hungry after sampling the barbecue, you are in luck! Taste your way through the Food Truck Roundup. Whatcom County food truck favorites including Feast, Ciccitti’s Pizza, Doug’s Burgers, Simmering Tava and El Tapatio Taco truck will be back and cooking up a variety of amazing food!
