My MOMento is my wedding wine glass that my mother gave me at my bridal shower. I was engaged and she gave me this wine glass that said bride and the wedding date. After the bridal shower I ended up calling off the wedding as I wasn’t ready to get married. My mother was very supportive of me and the groom. She helped us work through our problems over the course of a year and was always supportive of both of our decisions. A year later we actually did get married and as a joke she got the wine glass engraved with the new date and the old date crossed out. This is sitting on my shelf in my living room reminding me every day how caring and supportive my mother is and also how she laughs with me at my mistakes instead.
