Brant:
Totally feel sorry for this guy named Grant. He was trying to make a favorable impression on a woman he was courting.
Sherri:
Ooh, I think I saw this. Yeah, it happened in Pittsburgh. Yeah, I did. Okay. Yeah.
Brant:
He, like Jason Bourne style, jumped from one building to the next and they’re only separated by six inches. So I don’t know how he didn’t get all the way across, but he didn’t. And then he got wedged in between a Qdoba Mexican Grill or whatever it is, and a Brother’s Bagels. And then it took him a couple…
Sherri:
I know where that is too.
Brant:
hours. Fire department ambulances, multiple live news trucks, right? To try to wedge him out from between Qdoba and the bagel place. And then they showed him coming out on a stretcher.
Sherri:
Yeah. Well, he got her attention. That’s something she’s never going to forget.
Brant:
That’s true. He was trying to impress her. I just felt like this was kind of a cheap shot. This was the way the newspaper put it. Police officer pulled her aside and told her about a man trying to impress a young woman who tried to jump from one roof to another. He was talking to the manager of the bagel place. Her first thought was, “Who in their right mind would do this?” And the newspaper says the answer, Grant Birdsong, 22, of Indiana Township.
Sherri:
Why is that a cheap shot? That’s who did it.
Brant:
“Who in their right mind would do this? The answer Grant Birdsong.” That just seems a little…
Sherri:
But he did it.
Brant:
…cheeky, don’t you think?
