Greg:
Well, it’s been almost two years since we started this New Day Morning Show, and it was a blessing working with incredible people; with the incredible opportunity to share and sing along with you to this music filled with life and this conversation filled with laughter, knowing that the joy of the Lord is our strength. So first, thank you Lord for this opportunity that has been, as you promised, beyond what I ever could have asked or imagined. Thank you to my longtime friend Lynette, for sending me that text two years ago, inviting me to come sit in with you… the joy that it turned into. Thank you to all you listening for your kind messages and conversations online, on the phone, and even in person. In crazy places like the ice cream aisle at the grocery store. You’ve been an encouragement to me. Thank you PRAISE listeners for living what you listen to, and thank you for so warmly welcoming me into your daily routine each morning.
Due to some staff cuts here, I’m sad to say I won’t be able to be a part of that for now, but thankfully, my friend Lynette will still be here, and as she has so sweetly done for decades, she’ll continue to bring inspiration and encouragement and hope to you each day. For me, as the classic PRAISE song says, “I don’t know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future.” So, finally, whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praise worthy, let’s keep our eyes, ears, and our minds on these things. And may God continue to bless the ministry of praise and bless all of you.
Sincerely, Greg Otterholt.
It’s sad that Greg has to leave the show. He exudes this encouraging positivity on the radio. Now I know what they mean when they say a person shines. I thank God for blessing with Greg and I am sure He has a plan for Greg’s next step.
