Ryan has been my grade 8 teaching partner for 3 years and he always inspires me to think outside the box with my units or lessons. He always looks for ways to make his lessons “pop” and be as interactive as possible for his students. For example, one of the classes he teaches is social studies, and he does a medieval unit, which usually culminates with an in-person medieval fair project. Obviously, this year, the students couldn’t create their fair in person, so Ryan created a website inspired by Netflix, titled “Medieval flix “ and videoed and posted each group doing their presentations- this shows how innovative he is! Not even Covid can dampen his creativity.
Ryan is fun, engaging and loves to worship and praise. He genuinely cares for everyone he meets, and always encourages our students to speak life over each other. I am truly blessed to have him for a teaching partner.
