Gold Star Teacher 2022: Susan Robertson

Susan reflects Jesus in the classroom through her genuine love, compassion, and tenderness for her students.

I can’t say enough about Susan Robertson. She is our son’s Kindergarten teacher at Bellingham Christian School. Ms. Robertson exemplifies what any parent could want as an educator for their children. Her love, care, and kindness pours out over her students, clearly evidenced by how our son and other children speak about her outside of the classroom. Susan spends so much of her own time and efforts to make a learning experience for her students special, impactful, and real for each student. She spends time with each family and student to understand their needs, their intricacies, and what tools might be best suited to improve their learning.

Susan reflects Jesus in the classroom through her genuine love, compassion, and tenderness for her students. Our son loves school, and even loves playing school at home because his experience with Ms. Robertson has been so rich and her teaching so fruitful. She is impacting these kids on an earthly and eternal level! We love Susan and are so thankful for her desire to teach our children with Christ centered values and behaviors. She is without a doubt a Gold Star Teacher!
