Brant dug up this story from 2018 about the Montgomery Biscuits Minor League baseball team, who angered a lot of millennials with their Millennial Night promotion. The team tweeted about the event, offering free things, a participation ribbon for showing up, and napping and selfie stations.
Brant still thinks it’s funny.

Can we just hold, let’s hold there for a second.
Brant:
That’s so cool. I love that it’s the Montgomery Biscuits. But they tweeted it out that they were having millennial night at the ballpark.
Sherri:
To enrage millennials.
Brant:
The tweet said, “Want free things without doing much work. Well, you’re in luck. Riverwalk Stadium will be millennial friendly on Saturday, July 21st with a participation ribbon giveaway just for showing up. Napping and selfie stations along with,
Sherri:
Oh my. Is that real? That’s so insulting.
Brant:
It’s going to make it fun of how easily offended everybody is and sure enough, everybody’s on Twitter. This is so insulting. I have never been so offended. It is supposed to be funny.
Sherri:
It is mean.
Brant:
Come on.
Sherri:
But still. But you are insulting a whole group of people.
Brant:
But to me, if it’s that many people, this is the biggest generation in America. So just relax, laugh.
Sherri:
So, I’l tell you one thing…

Laugh. You can’t look at your friends and go, yeah, we are in the selfies or something.
Sherri:
I wouldn’t let myself be offended because it’s playing right into the tweet. I’m playing into the hands of the Biscuits front office.
Brant:
You did. You don’t want it to be outwitted by the Biscuit front office, but they’re doing it.
