Brant is sharing his controversial perspective on “National Day” observances today. For example, he steers clear of Go-Karts during “National Go-Kart week.” You ask him, “But what about National Indoor Plant Day, Brant?” Nope. Those plants are immediately moved outside. Side note: Sherri is troubled by this one as that action could be to the absolute detriment of the plants… He doesn’t care.

Brant:
Just so you know, we don’t do that on the show. And by that we mean if you’re listening, you’re not going to hear the Daily Almanac “This day in history. And then it’s national…”
Sherri:
You consider this a moral stance that you have.
Brant:
Yes. Because I don’t know who’s picking these days.
Sherri:
What’s the difference?
Brant:
National, international, what? Who?
Sherri:
Yeah. Okay. So all the days that you do celebrate the origin of the mall,
Brant:
I do the opposite of whatever they’re telling me. If it’s international Go-Kart week, which it is.
Sherri:
Oh, I love Go-karts.
Brant:
I do too. I’m not going to get on ’em this week. Promise.
Sherri:
Do you get on them often?
Brant:
It’s also National Indoor Plant week. Guess what I did with their indoor plant? They’re now outdoors for this week.
Sherri:
Oh, I don’t think that’s smart. It’s to their own demise. Huh? Got to stand on principle.
Brant:
This I’m kind of stuck on, I don’t even know what this means, but it’s Love your files week.
Sherri:
Love your files?
Brant:
So, I hate my files.
Sherri:
Okay. I’ve never even known you to have files. Files.
Brant:
I don’t even either. With a white hot passion.
Sherri:
Yes. You’re not including files…
Brant:
Ooh, these files!
