Our third Miracle on PRAISE 106.5 is Amber Klein.
Nominated by Jolene. Here is what she wrote:
My dear friend Amber could use some extra help this Christmas. Its been a testing year of her trusting God in these trials of life. Amber is a giver of care. She is a mom of 3 boys, two of them have Autism. She also takes care of her “Grams” who lives with her. Grandma has had many hospital visits and took a hard fall in Walmart. Grandmas health is not good. Amber works part time subbing for the Nooksack Valley School District. The needs of grams and her boys have prevented her ability to work and maintain income. The bills are piling up and she could use some extra cheer this year. She volunteers and gives her time to so many that It would be a miracle that someone give to her. I wish that I was in that place to do so but I recently lost my income for six weeks while my Son who has Angeman Syndrome recovers in a facility. Thank you for taking the time. to read this.
Amber will be receiving Christmas surprises of spa time, gifts for her kids, and food for a special and festive Christmas.
Merry Christmas to all!

Amber:
Hello?
Lynette:
Good morning. Is this Amber?
Amber:
This is.
Lynette:
Very good. It’s Lynette from PRAISE 106.5. How are you?
Amber:
I’m doing well. How are you?
Lynette:
Very good. I’ve called a couple times, but I didn’t want to spoil the surprise so I didn’t leave a message. But you have a darling little boy telling us to leave a message for Mama.
Amber:
Oh, I do. Oh, yes. Yes. You know what? He’s 16 now.
Lynette:
Oh, I love it. Keep it, keep forever, and play it at his wedding.
Amber:
I am, right. Isn’t it so cute? Yes! That’s my answering machine. He’s 16 now.
Lynette:
Oh, well, I hear you have three boys too.
Amber:
I do. And two have autism.
Lynette:
Wow. You have got your hands full. You have a friend that said you could use a little extra love, and a little extra help this Christmas with your three boys, and you are also taking care of grams?
Amber:
I am.
Lynette:
Oh, is this your mom or grandmother?
Amber:
She’s my Grandma, yes.
Lynette:
Oh, wow. That’s a lot.
Amber:
She took care of me when I was young, and now it’s my turn.
Lynette:
It’s your turn. And with Grandma’s, that’s a lot of hospital visits I’m sure.
Amber:
Yes, we’ve been in and out of the hospital.
Lynette:
Well, I hear you could use some extra cheer this year, and our radio station does something we call aMiracle on 106.5, and we wanted to bless you with a little pampering for yourself with a spa gift certificate just for you to enjoy little spoiling. How about that?
Amber:
For real?
Lynette:
Yes. We have a spa gift card for you and some gift cards for the boys this year for Christmas, and some gift cards to help with groceries too. So that can take some of the pressure off of the bills. How about that?
Amber:
Wow, you’re amazing. That is so sweet.
Lynette:
We just wanted to bless your heart. This tugs at my heart because my nephew and his wife have four boys, and three are on the spectrum, and it’s challenging for them. Not a lot of folks are familiar with autism.
Amber:
I run an autism walk every year at the Nooksack Valley High School. I do that to represent mainly my boys, but other kids with autism. School lets me do that. They’re amazing for that right there. And the teachers, they help me and it’s all by donation and volunteers.
Lynette:
Well, Amber, we’re going to get these special items to you before Christmas. You have a Merry Christmas. Know that you are loved and that somebody is thinking, you know what? You could use a little miracle this year, and we’re so happy to be a part of it with our sponsors, Walton Beverage.
Amber:
That is so amazing, and thank you so much. I have a lot of awesome friends and a lot of awesome friends that need help themselves, so this is really, really very touching for me.
Lynette:
It’s extra special, isn’t it? It’s when somebody is struggling and yet they reach out.
Amber:
I cannot believe that someone went out of their way for me like this. I really appreciate it.
Lynette:
You are very much loved, Amber. Thank you and have a Merry Christmas.
Amber:
Thank you.
