18 Reasons to Travel to Italy!

Have you traveled with us on a PRAISE 106.5 station trip? Many listeners have come on one or multiple trips with us, and we would love for you to be one of them! Our next trip is Reflections of Italy in October!

One of our staff members, Heidi, was recently in Italy and recommends that you don’t miss the opportunity to see these beautiful, iconic places, especially with a group of like-minded travelers from PRAISE 106.5. Heidi is sharing a photo tour from her trip of some of the locations we will be visiting below.

 

Our trip will begin in the historic city of Rome. It is said you could spend a lifetime in Rome and still not see all of the amazing sights. Some iconic places we will see on the trip:

 

 

 

The trip will have focused time in Vatican City at the Vatican museums (where you will find the Sistine Chapel) and St. Peter’s Basilica.

 

 

 

 

Moving on from Rome, we will visit Tuscany and spend time in Florence.

 

 

 

 

Florence is most well known for being a city full of art—there are museums and sculptures everywhere around the city.

 

 

The public is able to climb up the inside of The Duomo. Heidi’s family did it at sunset and had this amazing view.

 

Our Reflections of Italy travelers will also be going to the beautiful city of water, Venice! Everywhere you look in Venice you can see these iconic sights. Travelers will have the opportunity to ride in a gondola if they wish!
