The PRAISE 106.5 Promotions Team had the chance to go down to Seattle to visit a man from Duncan, BC who lost his vision due to surgery on a tumor on his back a few years ago, and is now living in an RV with his wife through the Christmas season. They’re in Seattle because the only place they can get the treatment he currently needs is at a hospital in Seattle. We stopped at Costco to get some pre-made meals, a cozy blanket, some Christmas chocolate, a little Christmas tree, and a Costco gift card for while they’re living in Seattle. They were SO excited about the Christmas tree being that they would be in the RV throughout the Christmas season. They had NO IDEA we were coming, and the wife was so confused when she opened the door. As we explained what Miracle on 106-5 was and that their daughter nominated them, she started crying. The man’s sister called the station the next week saying her brother called her absolutely ECSTATIC because of the visit—and the Christmas tree!
