This week’s Gold Star Teacher is Bonnie Cunningham!
Nominated by Kristin Hagin:
Mrs Cunningham is a blessing! She joined our BCS family this year teaching a multi age 3rd and 4th grade classroom. I have a 3rd grader, who was very excited for this opportunity, and a bit nervous. My kiddo often has some anxiety around school and Mrs. Cunningham has turned this into the best year ever. I have watched my young man grow into a love of learning beyond what I have seen before. He has explored the world of reading and literature in a way that was new to him. More than all of this, Mrs. Cunningham stood by my son this year while our family went through some medical problems. Mrs. Cunningham was caring and compassionate about what my son needed, and made sure to give him extra hugs and love – while continuing to grow his love of learning.
From Ed:
‘Mrs. Cunningham is just awesome. She listens. She helped us create our team. She tells me to slow down and do good work, and I try to listen. She is the best!!!’
Thank you Mrs. Cunningham!
