Someone Cares

I just wanted to let you know how much my family was blessed this evening when we were out to a very stressful family dinner the night before our 3 year old goes in for surgery and the couple next to us paid for our meal.

My husband is a non believer and he looked at me on the way out the door and said, "Hmm, I guess someone out there really does care."

For me it felt like God touched me on the shoulder and said, "Someone up here cares, and everything is going to be ok."  Like when your dad wraps his arms around you and holds you tight while you cry on his shoulders, laying all your burdens on him.  Thank you so much.  Words will never express how much of a difference that gesture made on our family in this difficult time.

I am a single mother with three children, living in a rural area without any other family around. I have an extreme ADHD child that often thinks for himself. The other day I recieved a call at work from my oldest son that his younger brother decided to walk a different way from the school bus and he did not know where he was. I was actually calm and did not panic to the news. I recieved a phone call minutes later from the son that was lost. He had walked 45 minutes around the forest and came unto a woman's back yard crying. This dear woman was there at the right time to take in my son and brought him back to me. I felt that I was not alone and my son was protected from our Heavenly Father through this lady's act of kindness.
